With profound sadness, family, friends, and communities across Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick are mourning the sudden passing of Sidney Lea Urquhart, a beloved daughter, sister, friend, and cherished member of her community. Sidney passed away alongside her beloved boyfriend, Hunter Green, on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in Grand Manan, New Brunswick. Her unexpected death has left an unimaginable void in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.

Born on July 19, 2007, in Saint John, New Brunswick, Sidney was a vibrant young woman whose personality, creativity, and kindness made a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. She lived life with a fearless spirit, embracing every opportunity to express herself, make memories, and bring happiness to those around her.

Sidney was known for her colorful personality, unique sense of style, and ability to brighten any room she entered. She had a gift for making people laugh and never hesitated to be herself. Her playful nature, sense of humor, and willingness to do something silly just to make someone smile reflected the genuine warmth and compassion she carried within her.

Growing up on Grand Manan Island, Sidney formed friendships that became lifelong bonds. Sidney also loved traveling and discovering new places with family and friends. From California and Florida to Prince Edward Island and the Grand Canyon, she embraced every adventure with excitement and curiosity. Whether visiting somewhere new or returning to places she loved, Sidney found beauty and joy in every experience.
